Unquestionably worth the detour. We had fried oysters, crab cakes, white beans & shrimp, and - the piece de resistance - the best crawfish pie i’ve ever eaten. Backs up to the bayou and fronting the fish market, an authentic setting. Friendly and down-home service. If you’re not hungry or on a diet, go somewhere else!
We had an amazing late lunch. They are pet friendly, huge plus! My husband had the Shrimp Po'boy, delicious and well seasoned not to hot not tame very tasty. I had the white beans with shrimp sausage with rice it was amazing. I normally don't like eating out, it's either cold, doesn't taste right but this place hit the nail on the head. I would have gone back every night but they were closed on Monday and Tuesday and I left Wednesday. Great Job
Excellent!! First our server, Bridget, was amazing!!! She was super helpful and attentive! They do not rush you at all! We had the crab dip, Mardi Gras catfish and the crawfish pie! All three were amazing!!! I wish we could have tried a lot more on the menu, but there were only two of us! To end we had the bread pudding and the pecan pie! Again both amazing. I did love love the bread pudding! It is a nice place, yet very casual and comfortable This place is top notch! Definitely go, you will not be disappointed!
This place was delicious! All of the seafood was fresh & tasty, pretty good prices. We loved the crawfish pie, crab dip, wings and crab cakes. Would definitely recommend!!

Looking to stay on the Westbank and was told about this place. From the atmosphere, service, and the food it was great. My husband ordered the special of shrimp and grits with andouille sausage with tomato glaze. I had the crawfish pie with asparagus and cherry tomatoes. They were both so good. You will not leave hungry. Will definitely go back.
How did I never know about this place? Segnette Landing is just behind the Westwego fish market and in front of the swamp tours docks. This is certainly a hidden gem on the West Bank. We sat outside on a beautiful day where we saw tourists, birds and an alligator. We ate the ultimate burger and the shrimp remoulade salad. The burger was cooked to order and the shrimp were perfectly boiled, generous, and paired with a delicious and authentic remoulade. This is a great escape from the city and specifically the French Quarter.
I probably would have never known this place existed if it wasn’t for my mom suggesting it. The food was delicious! All the best flavors, fresh tasting Nola ingredients! we even sat outside since it was a nice day. Definitely suggest stopping in for a bite. The crawfish pie was AMAZING!
